Please read carefully. These Terms include a binding arbitration clause (Section 20), a class action waiver (Section 20.3), significant limitations on our liability (Section 18), and a strict 18+ age requirement. By using Mita, you agree to these Terms in full.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Mita (“we,” “our,” or “us”) governing your access to and use of the Mita mobile application and all related features and services (collectively, the “Service”). Mita is a global travel community platform where explorers share journeys, discover destinations, and connect with fellow adventurers worldwide. By registering for or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
01
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
1.1 — Binding Agreement

By downloading, installing, registering for, or using any part of the Service, you enter into a legally binding contract with Mita effective as of the date of your first access. If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

1.2 — Incorporated Documents

These Terms incorporate by reference our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and any other policies we publish within the Service. In any conflict between these Terms and a supplementary policy, these Terms shall prevail unless the supplementary policy expressly governs a specific subject matter.

1.3 — Language

These Terms are drafted in English, which is the controlling language. Any translation is for convenience only; in any inconsistency, the English version governs.

02
ELIGIBILITY & REGISTRATION
2.1 — Age Requirement

The Service is available exclusively to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18. We reserve the right to immediately terminate any account where we have reasonable grounds to believe the holder is under 18, without prior notice or liability.

2.2 — Accurate Registration

You agree to provide truthful, current, and complete information during registration, including your real date of birth. Providing false information, including a false date of birth to circumvent the age restriction, is a material breach of these Terms and grounds for immediate permanent account termination.

2.3 — One Account Per User

Each individual may maintain only one active Mita account. Creating duplicate accounts to evade bans, suspensions, or enforcement actions is prohibited and may result in permanent termination of all associated accounts.

2.4 — Third-Party Sign-In

You may register via Apple Sign-In or Google. By doing so, you authorize Mita to receive limited profile information from those providers as permitted by your consent settings, subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

2.5 — Geographic Availability

The Service may not be available or fully functional in all jurisdictions due to legal or technical constraints. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the laws of your country of residence, including any regulations applicable to user-generated travel content in your territory.

03
ACCOUNT SECURITY
3.1 — Credential Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Do not share your password with any third party. Mita will never request your password through any communication channel.

3.2 — Unauthorized Use

Notify us promptly at service@mita.bet if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mita is not liable for losses arising from unauthorized use prior to your notification.

3.3 — Account Responsibility

You are fully responsible for all activity occurring through your account, including all content published, purchases made, community interactions, and trip data created, whether or not personally initiated by you.

04
THE SERVICE

Mita is a global travel community platform providing:

  • A community feed for sharing travel photos, videos, destination reviews, and travel stories
  • Trip planning and itinerary creation tools with cross-device sync
  • Destination discovery powered by community content and personalized recommendations
  • Location-based discovery of nearby points of interest, travel tips, and local community posts
  • Destination-specific groups and travel interest forums
  • In-app purchasing for premium features and virtual goods
4.2 — Availability

We strive for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, infrastructure issues, or events beyond our reasonable control.

4.3 — Evolution

Mita is continuously developed. We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We will provide reasonable advance notice of material changes affecting your use of the Service.

05
TRIP PLANNING FEATURES
5.1 — Trip Data Ownership

Trip plans, itineraries, bucket list destinations, and travel notes you create within Mita are associated with your account and stored on our servers. This data belongs to you. You may export or delete your trip data at any time from account settings. We do not share your unpublished trip plans with travel brands, airlines, hotels, or advertisers without your explicit consent.

5.2 — Sharing Itineraries

If you choose to publish a trip itinerary publicly on Mita, it becomes User-Generated Content subject to the license grant in Section 6.2 and the visibility controls you set. You may change an itinerary's visibility to Private or Followers Only at any time from your trip settings.

5.3 — No Guaranteed Accuracy

Trip planning tools are provided for organizational and inspirational purposes. Mita does not verify the accuracy of destination information, travel advisories, visa requirements, opening hours, or pricing data that may appear within planning features. See Section 8 for our Travel Information Disclaimer.

06
USER-GENERATED CONTENT
6.1 — Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all content you publish or submit through the Service, including travel photos, videos, destination reviews, journal posts, itineraries, tips, and community discussions. By submitting content, you represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights to it and that it complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.

6.2 — License Grant

By posting UGC, you grant Mita a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your content within the Service and in connection with promoting the Service, subject to your privacy settings. You retain ownership of all original content you create.

6.3 — Accuracy of Travel Information

When sharing destination reviews, travel tips, or safety information in community features, you agree to share only information you genuinely believe to be accurate. Posting materially false travel safety information that could endanger other travelers is a serious violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account enforcement action.

6.4 — No Endorsement

Publication of UGC on Mita does not constitute our endorsement, verification, or approval of that content. Users rely on community travel information at their own discretion and risk.

6.5 — Deletion

You may delete your content at any time. Deleted content is removed from public view within 48 hours, from production servers within 30 days, and from backup archives within 90 days.

07
COMMUNITY STANDARDS
7.1 — The Mita Community

Mita is built on the shared passion for exploration and discovery. We ask all members to engage with authenticity, generosity, and respect — bringing the same open spirit to the community that makes travel transformative. Diverse perspectives on destinations and travel styles are welcome; personal attacks and harassment are not.

7.2 — No Harassment

You may not use Mita to harass, bully, stalk, threaten, or target any individual. Coordinated harassment campaigns, doxxing, and targeted intimidation of other users will result in immediate enforcement action and may be reported to law enforcement.

7.3 — No Hate Speech

Content promoting hatred or discrimination against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic is strictly prohibited.

7.4 — No Misleading Travel Information

You may not post materially false or fabricated travel safety warnings, visa requirements, destination conditions, or accommodation reviews. Deliberate misinformation that could cause harm to travelers relying on the information is a serious violation of these Terms.

7.5 — Authentic Reviews

Destination and accommodation reviews must reflect your genuine experience. Fake reviews, coordinated review manipulation, and reviews submitted for places you have not actually visited are prohibited and will result in enforcement action against all involved accounts.

7.6 — No Spam

You may not use Mita to post spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or promotional materials not expressly permitted under these Terms, including repetitive promotion of third-party travel services in community spaces.

08
TRAVEL INFORMATION DISCLAIMER
8.1 — Informational Purposes Only

All destination information, travel guides, itineraries, safety tips, visa information, entry requirements, health advisories, local laws, and other travel-related content available on Mita — whether created by Mita, contributed by community members, or surfaced through third-party integrations — is provided for informational and inspirational purposes only. It does not constitute professional travel, legal, medical, or safety advice.

8.2 — No Guarantee of Accuracy

Travel conditions, entry requirements, visa rules, health advisories, and local regulations change frequently and without notice. Mita does not independently verify the real-time accuracy of travel information on the platform. You are solely responsible for conducting your own research and consulting authoritative sources — including official government travel advisories and embassy information — before making any travel decision.

8.3 — Travel Safety

Travel involves inherent risks. Mita is not responsible for any harm, injury, loss, expense, or legal consequence you may experience as a result of decisions made based on content found on the Service. Always exercise appropriate judgment, comply with local laws, and follow official safety guidance when traveling.

09
CHILD SAFETY & CSAE POLICY
9.1 — Age Restriction

Mita is exclusively for users 18 years of age or older. We implement date-of-birth verification at registration and apply detection measures to accounts suspected of being operated by minors. Confirmed underage accounts are immediately and permanently terminated with all associated data deleted.

9.2 — Parental Notification

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has created a Mita account, contact us immediately at service@mita.bet. We will investigate and, where confirmed, permanently delete the account and all associated data without delay.

9.3 — CSAE Policy
Zero tolerance — absolute and unconditional. Mita enforces an unconditional zero-tolerance policy toward any content, conduct, or activity that constitutes, facilitates, promotes, or glorifies Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) in any form. Prohibited conduct includes without limitation: child sexual abuse material (CSAM); grooming, solicitation, or exploitation of individuals under 18; and any content depicting, targeting, or endangering persons under 18.

We deploy automated CSAM hash-matching on all uploaded media, AI-assisted content analysis, and dedicated human safety reviewers. Upon confirmed detection or credible report: all associated content is immediately and permanently removed; the responsible account is permanently terminated and all associated identifiers are blocked; a mandatory report is filed with the NCMEC CyberTipline or the legally required equivalent national authority; and we cooperate fully and proactively with all resulting law enforcement investigations. CSAE-related terminations carry no right of appeal.

To report: use the in-app Report function on any content or profile, or email service@mita.bet immediately with subject “CSAE Report.” These reports are our highest-priority safety matter.
9.4 — Ongoing Safeguards

We conduct regular audits of child safety infrastructure, collaborate with recognized child safety organizations, and continuously update our detection capabilities in line with evolving best practices and legal requirements.

10

Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use Mita's trademarks or proprietary marks without prior written consent.

10.2 — Feedback

If you submit ideas, suggestions, or feedback about the Service, you agree that Mita may use such feedback freely without obligation. You assign to Mita all intellectual property rights in such feedback to the extent assignable under applicable law.

11.2 — Restrictions

This license does not include any right to: sublicense, resell, or commercially exploit the Service; copy, modify, or create derivative works; reverse engineer or disassemble any part of the Service; access the Service via automated means including bots or scrapers; or circumvent any security or access control feature.

11.3 — Reservation of Rights

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Mita. Unauthorized use terminates your license and may expose you to legal liability.
